In the men who used Viagra for a longer time than those who were not taking it, ED was diagnosed more frequently than those who were not taking the drug.
“That is a huge step up in terms of how common erectile dysfunction is and what’s the impact it could have on men who take it,” he said.

Viagra is the first drug for erectile dysfunction that was approved by the FDA in 1998. The drug is not yet approved by the U. Food and Drug Administration.
The researchers said the study’s findings may help physicians develop new treatment approaches to ED.
